News - Congregation
Written by Br. Throy M. Fuentebella, pSSS

0001wp.jpgInspired by Saint Peter Eymard, whose life is always on the go, may describe their journey as "pilgrims", in search for lives' meaning and purpose at the heart of the Eucharist.  Nourished by the Body and Blood of Christ, the pilgrims had found invigorating strength and refreshing inspirations as they start their journey on the road of discipleship as hopeful sacramentinos.

This year, the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, had accepted four young and vibrant postulants, who have hailed from three major islands of the Philippines.  Diverse and unique in many ways, yet, they have shared in one vision in the pursuit of their search of God and expressing their humble desire to be of service to others amidst the signs of time in the history of human's salvation.

News - Congregation
Written by Fr Thomas A. Wiese, SSS

IMG_0619.JPGAs we approach 2011, we are celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Birth and Baptism of our saintly founder - Peter Julian Eymard. As a Congregation and individual provinces, we will mark this event in many different ways throughout the coming year. One special celebration of this milestone will be a special Pilgrimage to the "Land of St. Eymard" in English sponsored by the Province of Saint Ann (USA).
Many of our English-speaking religious have made this Pilgrimage "In the Footsteps of Saint Peter Julian Eymard" already, and several others have yet to experience this opportunity to grow in knowledge and love of our saintly Founder. Won't you consider joining us, or encouraging some of your religious or committed laity to join Father Norman Pelletier, myself, other SSS religious and dedicated lay people in getting to know our Founder better and celebrating the 200th Anniversary of his Birth and Baptism? It surely is an appropriate occasion.
